Race to the finish line!

  OK, I know I did good on my Literay Traditions final (Dr. Dial-Driver writes good tests) and feel fairly confident about my Public Policy final (thank you, study group!).  I got my Research Methods papers done and turned in.  I've never done any kind of assignments like those two so I have no clue how I did.  I like what I wrote, though.  Tomorrow is Soc. Syst. & Prob. final and I need to turn in the two papers for Campaigns.  Just think, by tomorrow night, it'll all be over!  That's both thrilling and terrifying.

  And then we shall party!  Friday is Chloe's birthday party (it will be incredibly sappy and I shall have to try really hard not to tease her and David the whole time, but there will be dancing-fun!)  Saturday, some conglomerate of us will drive to Arlington for Erica's shower.  I can't wait to see everybody!  I know I saw them in August, but that's a good four months ago!  Tuesday is Twilight Prayer and Praise--I'm going to be so confused by it not being on a Friday.  Like I said, party, party, party!

  Because I'm sure going to need it by the end of tomorrow!

Write 5 journals for Social Systems and Problems

Write 2 papers for Campaigns, Elections and Voting

Take 3 finals in Literay Traditions, Public Policy, and Social Systems and Problems, in that order,

and finish the 2 almost completed papers for Research Methods II.

Right now, I'm going to take a power nap.

Why I haven't called Chera (even though I really want to)

Monday (10/1): 3-6 page essay due in Perspectives as well as a test during class. Outline for informative speech due in speach.

Wednesday: First part of the Latin/Greek class' midterm. This would be the memory part. Also there's a test in Intro to Soc.

Friday: Second part of Latin/Greek midterm.

Monday (10/8): Informative speech. Cavity filling that afternoon (more about that later).

Friday: Thesis statement and tentative bibliography due for Lit research paper.

Monday-Wednesday (10/15 and 10/17) Speech and Lit midterms.

So last week I couldn't call because Chera was wildly studying and this week it's my turn. I think that after Wednesday I could call. Busy, busy...

Wow. You can get a lot done on a computer at school. I've read blogs, written 3 emails, caught up on the news, watched youtube videos, read some online stuff for my Perspectives class, chatted with Samuel, and am now posting on my blog.

I love peach ice tea.

Chera's pharmacology class sounds like a nightmare. I should call her, even if it has to be short since she has so much to do.

We're going to the dollar movie this evening to see the third Pirates movie. It'll be nice to see it in a decent theater and in English. :)

Tomorrow is Jaron's funeral. I keep thinking about the time that his truck ran over a mine that didn't detonate. Our days are certainly numbered precisely.

I really need a job. I have no idea where to look for a job. Please be praying.

Arlington, relatives, and Six Flags were more fun than oughta be legal. As was the trip to Kansas on Friday and Saturday to see the Neus, although not nearly as fast paced as previous trips.

I need to see about getting my camera repaired, procuring a parking permit for RSU, call about Hebrew and PE classes, and clean my room.

Rachel Cook called me today. She is such a great friend! She's enjoying married life and is expecting in March. I really need to go see her. She's been asking me to for forever.

I slept in.

Drank a whole bottle of tea.

Biked around town for an hour or so and took pictures.

Played the piano.

Visited with Joy.

Ate lunch at Monkey's.

The town's god's birthday that's either Thursday, Saturday, or Monday depending on your interpration of our conversation at lunch with sundry people. In the past this has been a hard time of spiritual attack for the team.
