Howdy hey!

Tonight Naomi, Joshua, and Isaac are all testing at karate. I'm a little worried about Isaac passing but I'm pretty sure Naomi and Joshua will pass. I'm just really nervious because I want them to do really well! Ethan and I will test after Christmas break. Tonight we'll just be helping out wherever they need us. I hope I get to help test the white belt kids. I might end up kinda bored because Mr. Murry doesn't want me to fight until 6 weeks after the concussion.

It's so wonderful to have BonnieJean home! I know that she's been home for 4 months but every now and then I look around while we're planning stuff with her, doing stuff with her, and think 'She's here with me!' warm-mushy-happy thoughts.

2 weeks ago we took my violin, Elise, into Tulsa Violin Shop to figure out why it was so hard to tune. Turned out it needed a lot of maintence. The sound post had weakened and so the curvature of the back of the violin was flatter than it should be. So they put in a new sound board. They shaved off the shoulders that slowly develop on the tuning pegs. They lessened the heighth and curvature of my bridge (it was exceptionaly high) which makes it tons easier to fiddle now. They replaced all the strings. They got me a new tail piece with fine tuners for all strings. That all came to $168 (I think) but it sure sounds beautiful now, even with me playing it! OH, I got to play it with the choir on church Sunday. It was so fun!

The band concert is Thursday but the powers-that-be have me working that day even though I asked for it off. Drattage. Everyone else will probably be going. Oh well, the real fun are the practices at home and the reherseals. I don't get a huge thrill out of being on a stage so it's no big deal to miss it.

I really have to go clean my room even though I want to be writing here. Oh well, there's always tomorrow, right?
