Anna will be "seventeen and insane" on August 4th. The following are suggestions for gifts:
A jo from Century.
A purple uni-ball pen (or any kind of pretty pen).
A small-enough-to-carry-around digital camera with zoom and flash.
Violin music, intermediate to advanced. My fiddle repetoire (sp?) is almost nonexistant.
Blank sheet music.
Dean Carson's, Come Thou Fount.
Any of C.S. Lewis and Tolkien's books, preferably hardcover.
The Divine Comedies.
The Federalist and Anti-Federalist Papers.

Pretty paper.

She has not returned our questions saying she was busy working on those two projects.

Bird heard singing at midnight

It was reported by Anna and Mama that a bird was heard enthusiastically whistling at a late hour last night in their backyard. When asked why the bird could possibly be singing at such an hour Anna replied, "Think of it as a love note from God. I was lying in bed praying and all of sudden it started singing. I don't think it was a coincidence." Anna also reported that she later heard it at about 3 in the afternoon after swimming.

No news on financial situation of Kitty's family.

Prayers continue for their predictment. We will notify our readers when the situation is known.
