Howdy!  BJ slept through her flight yesterday but got everything straightened out (after she woke up, that is) for her to be in Tulsa at 10 this morning.  We'll all be going to get her, except poor Samuel who has the 7-3 shift at Microtel.

Samuel, Ethan, and I went to Benjamin P. surprise 19th b.day party.  It was a total blast!  We played Capture the Flag, Treasure Hunt, Mafia, water balloon toss (amazing how often they got tossed at somebody.  Not that I did anyone... *blocks sounds of wild laughter*), food, cake, homemade icecream all to the background of one lovely thunderstorm.  My favorite game was the balloon toss.  Katie and had a towel and threw a water balloon back forth between Samuel and Jordon's towel ours.  The objective was to throw the balloon in such a way that the other team couldn't catch it.  Katie and I won.  :)  We saw some Kodak lightning strikes.  There was a particular Isaac S. who set out to make me and Ethan miserable.  But it was fun to irritate him by not being irritated.  The only really bad thing that happened was Mrs. P. had us all together for pic.  Me and the 3 other girls (Priscilla, Katy, and Amy) were all kneeling in front.  It was a goofy picture (we had fake teeth, hats, and glasses with huge noses and bushy moustaches.  I wish I had a scanner so y'all could see!) so I flipped my hair into my face.  I was on one knee and had my right foot behind me (the sprained one) and Isaac was behind me and somebody stood on my foot.  Not just stepped on my toes but stood on it.  And I couldn't get my hair out of my face fast enough to see who it was.  But I suspect Isaac.  It still hurts some but I think I'll be ok.  But, like I said, Isaac didn't ruin it and we had a lot of fun!

Oh, and Jordon backed into Stratton Taylor's car in the Java Dave's parking lot just before the party.  He said he didn't know if his mom would tell his dad or if he would have to tell Mr. B.  So Mr. B. shows up to pick Jordon up.  Jordon is on pins and needles and everybody else has a "I'm-looking-at-Mr.-B.-but-not-really-looking-at-him-and-it's-obvious-that-I'm-not-trying-to-be-obvious" look at their face.  Nobody said anything about the "incident" and so we still don't know if Jordon had to tell him.

Oh, and pretty soon I need to write about Fahrenheit 451.  And I'm playing The Promise by Dean Carson for offertory tomorrow.  And I love y'all dearly and have to go the airport.
