I learned today what a lateral surface of a geometric solid. It's all the sides of a solid except the base. Just thought y'all might want to know...

Monday, late afternoon, driving into Tulsa on the Will Rogers Turnpike a car passsed us with one foot sticking out of the front passenger window. Samuel pointed it out to us and I said "Why am I reminded of Jen?" He replied, "Because that's something Jen would do." I made some sort of grunting agreement noise and he then said "And if it was all the D. girls there would be a foot out each window and they would be doing synchronized conducting or something!" And we all laughed and made grunting agreeing noises again.

The soundtrack to Shadowlands is positively beautiful! Everybody go out and buy it.
