I wrote letters yesterday instead of writing here. I wrote JC and Alicia and Kiwa.
I got e-cards from David and Chera! And an email from Kiwa! Thank you all!
Yesterday we watched "On the Waterfront." It was directed by Elia Kazen. If you've ever read Ronald Reagan's "Where's the Rest of Me?!" you'll know about the miniature cold war in Hollywood over the actors, directors, writers, etc.. unions. Elia Kazen spoke up against a big union being ruin by the commies, and they raked his reputation over the coals. So, he made "On the Waterfront." It was really good!! The only problem was that the girl is schizophrenic and changes character often.
We have rented FOTR on DVD!!! We put a hold on it at Movie Gallery. oh, and I won a $5 gift certificate at Blockbuster because my name was drawn at the library.
Went swimming yesterday. Swam 6 laps, 3 continous. And I made it the length of the pool in one breath going off the board!
God has been blessing me a lot! There's 2 things I've really been desiring. That my swimming would be in successful as in building me up, and that my violin would improve. I haven't swam that many laps and not been totally exhausted for a long time. And yesterday I was able to play in 2nd and 3rd position pretty decently on my violin. And I was able to figure out the melody of "Ashoken Farewell" by ear!
Ack. The blogging mood has left, so am I. Love y'all! ~Anna~
