Some random thoughts
I need to keep my front hand higher when I throw my reverse punch. Several folks are sneaking in a back hand ridgehand to my head. My reverse punch is landing first but head points are easier to see than body shots.
I found this on the blogger dashboard section, blogs of note. Maybe Dad would enjoy reading about somebody else's remodelling when he's not working on his own. :)
I love the smell in the air when it's going to rain. It's not as good as the clean smell afterwards, but they're both cool.
Oh, Ethan and I realized something terrible last night. Since we're both purple belts and he'll be 15 by May we'll be competing against each other in forms! AHHHHHHHH!
Cabal: A conspiratorial group of plotters or intriguers: “Espionage is quite precisely a cabal of powerful men, working secretly” (Frank Conroy). A secret scheme or plot. intr.v. ca·balled, ca·bal·ling, ca·bals
To form a cabal; conspire. Dictionary.com said the root of this word is French but I heard a different history from Sam Bower. King Charles the II of England (son of the Charles who was beheaded by Oliver Cromwell) had 5 advisors who's last name initials became the word cabal. The C of the group, Anthony Ashley Cooper or Lord Chafesbury, was a great friend of John Locke.
We went and saw National Treasure in the dollar theater last week. It was great! Then we came home, ate pizza, and read the Declaration of Independence-the front part. We don't have a copy of the map on the back. ;)
Fun things I'm going to do today:
Call Rachel C.
Go to band
Go to the RSU library. Ah, books!
Learn more about the model of the atom, all those rotating electrons, protons, and neautrons. So interesting.
Write some of my COMMIT girls.
Practice Wansai Ni.
Read my Bible.
Play outside.
Right now though I have to go spread some tarps underneath the house. We've heard it will help with mold. Here's hoping!
