Election Night!
And me not at no watch party. But me will not have a pity-party. Because...
Things be looking good for Coburn! He won our precinct 133 to 6 (Anthony) and 15 (Humphreys). It's too soon to call it but we're optimistic.
Sad news... Harris is not looking good. Looks like the horseracer dude will get it.
Oh, and the amazing Brian got me the code for this color purple. Cool, huh?
I had the most productive day! Got my algebra lesson, violin practice, yard work, Isaac's lesson, and swim done! And it was altogether pleasant. We had beautiful weather again. We were going to leave the a.c. off but it's our best mold guard: keeps everything dry.
Later...
Caleb busted his eyelid open. He was making faces at Mama through the window while standing on the bench on the front porch. Something went wrong and he fell and busted his right lid open. Another trip to Dr. Bower. Caleb was pretty freaked out about it (he's had to go see Dr. B. before). Mama just called and said it was done and Caleb was pretty traumatized.
Coburn has officially won with the numbers being: With 80 percent of precincts reporting, Coburn had 60 percent, or 94,692 votes, while former Oklahoma City Mayor Kirk Humphreys had 25 percent, or 38,624 votes. State Corporation Commissioner Bob Anthony was third with 14 percent. Samuel was listening to 740 and they stuck a big foot in their mouth by saying Humphreys. Woops!
Samuel has the graveyard shift tonight. Everybody else is watching Good Boy. It's a cute movie. It was the director's first movie. And whoever built the sets and maybe the lighting did it very similar to the sets in Stuart Little. I wonder if it was the same person.
I think I'll go to bed now.
