Blogger has changed again! This is pretty decent, the only problem being that I can't see my old posts.

I wish I knew enough about webpages and templates to change a couple things here. I wish I could get it where the archives were all on a different page. So, on your right instead of a long list of posts, it would just be one button labelled archives. You click on that, and then get the long list.

The other thing is that I want my text lines to go as far right as they can. Now it's just long and narrow, and I would prefer it a little shorter and wider.

And another thing is that I need to get YACCHS rolling again.

This week is VBS, and we had thought that we wouldn't be able to do it. The van has been throwing fits, so Dad's been driving it to work (which is a bummer because of it's addiction to lots of gas.), and leaving us the volary. But the volary doesn't have any a.c. so Mama can't go anywhere for long. To make the long story short, nobody was going to VBS. But I guess it got around church yesterday that we had vehicle trouble, so Mrs. Persson is taking Joshua and Isaac, and Mrs. Bower is taking Caleb and Naomi. Isn't that wonderful of them? I sure hope they behave and enjoy themselves.

So now that they're gone to VBS, and Mama and Samuel are walking at the Rec Center, it's just me and Ethan doing computer and laundry, and BJ doing school. The house is strangely quiet. Feels weird.

Y'all might pray for me. I'm very low energy, and might not be able to go to karate tonight, which I realllllly want to go to. Especially tonight because Samuel will be asking Mr. Murray to pre-test us next week, which probably means that he will want to see us do our kata. And if I'm not there to do it for him, he might not want to test me.

We got Aladdin from the library Friday, and Ethan is watching it right now. I love the opening song. I don't have the words down quite right, but it goes something like... Oh, I come from a land in a faraway place, where the caravan camels roam. Where it's flat and immense, and the heat is intense. It's barbaric, but hey! it's home. Come on down, take a carpet and fly to another Arabian night!

Saturday was sooo busy! Benjamin Matheney's party was 10-1, but Ethan didn't get to go because of all the other things we were doing. Which is a real shame, because Benjamin is so fun!

Mama and Dad had Mr. and Mrs. Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Garret, and Mr. and Mrs. Holliday over for Dinners for Eight. So we had the house spanking clean, the food ready, and packed me on down outside to go swimming. Mama packed picnicable foods in the laundry room fridge, so we had food, and the little bathroom. We saw for about 2 hours, ate, and then swam for about another hour. By the end of swimming I had rubbed my toes raw by pushing off the bottom so often. At eight, company was still here, so I whipped everybody through the tub, and into bed, and got to visit some with company. And I got to hold little Justus Holliday. He has the softest hair ever!

4-? Saturday was also the College and Career costume party. Samuel shaved his head except for a couple of spots, which he spiked into horns. Then Mama did his face up like Darth Maul, and he dressed all in black, which got the point across very well. He has pictures up at www.jugglingjesusfreak.blogspot.com Oh, he is not shaving the horns, until Wednesday so he can go to karate, work, and chess like that. He got a lot of good reactions out of people at church.

BonnieJean went in her rose dress with butterfly wings, as Miss Butterfly doing her Inner-Musician Discovery Course. It was knock-you-down funny! Although the audience did get somewhat involved, and tried to throw her off, but she did very well.

Oh, and Friday night Samuel, Ethan, Naomi, and I went to Abbi Atchison's bd. party. It was soooo fun! I played soccer and volleyball most of the time. And we had a water balloon fight, which was wonderful because it cooled everybody off.

And Thursday night, Mama, BonnieJean, and I went to Kohls for their clearance sale. I got 3 shirts and one dress all of which I'm very pleased with. Kohls is a nice place to go to during their sales, but otherwise it's way too expensive.

Last night was BJ's secret sister revealing. I had placed my bet on one of the Williams girls having BonnieJean, but it was Julie Ward! She gave her a beautiful butterfly ring and brooch! And they re-shuffled papers, and I shan't tell who she got!

We had a real good S.S. class yesterday. We talked about modesty, and Lisa had some good points. I didn't learn anything I really didn't know already, but I'm glad she felt comfortable enough to bring it up. Especially when some girls in our class are sometimes on the borderline.

Ok, this is probably long enough now. Blessings to all!
