I hate familynet!
My last post was my 500th post and I forgot to commemorate (sp?) it! I knew it was approaching, oh 20 posts ago and I told myself to keep track but did I remember? No! So how 'bout we just skip directly to the y'all cheering and me bowing part?
Oh, something else I forgot to commemorate was that the 18th was Chinese New Year. Happy Year of the Pig everyone!
Be in major prayer for the silly tournament this Saturday. I'm so afraid it's going to flop and I'm having trouble getting a hold of anybody to promote it.
The last major thing we were praying for was my scholarship interview at RSU which went really well, so I shouldn't be worried about the tournament at all. I'll find out about the scholarship sometime this week.
I just finished the 2 Blackcollar books by Timothy Zahn. They're both very good but I think I like the first one best, even though Whiplash was a great surprise at the end of the second.
Oh, and I read the 4 Loves by C.S. Lewis last weekend. Very good.
I love road trips and I want to take a lot more of them in the future. Leisurely, cheap ones. Right now I'm trying to figure out how to procure a roadtrip to TN for my friend's wedding the 14th of April. I have no idea if it will actually happen, but I sure want it to.
One Night with the King was incrediably boring and dragged on forever although it had beautiful sets and costumes.
Eragon needed a better script in some places and bigger sets in a lot of places but the special effects were awesome and I had an enjoyable experience over all. It was fun to sit next to Caleb. He got so into it and enjoyed it so much.
Right now I need to go feed Caleb and the other boys and then be the kidnapped queen in a show Caleb is putting on.
