Now that he's released his prisoner updates I shall release mine.

Sunday was embarrasing because we forgot daylight savings time and therefore missed doing the first nursing home. It was also embarrasing because I was supposed to have worked 2-9 but I had misread the schedule Friday and didn't know it. Warehouse did call but we were at the Marshes and by the time I got the message they had already called Judith in to fill. Since I had missed Sunday entirely they asked me to close Tuesday which of course I agreed to since I wasn't in any position to ask for favors. The bad side is that it totally cut band and guitar. Thankfully, no one was upset with me not even Tim or Judith and I don't think Mr. Roper will be upset.

We have now successfully survived 2 weeks without Mama.

Monday was fun. I had the six and under white belts which I don't usually do very well with but surprisingly it was real fun and I think they learned quite a bit.

I need to figure out someway to guard against shots to the head coming from the outside/above angle. I'm just not seeing them coming. I know it's not a matter of speed or reactions. For example: Ethan's reverse punches and kicks are much faster than Mr. Rosebur's descending hammerfists. Why can I block more than 50% of Ethan's kicks and less than 25% of Mr. Rosebur's head shots? I fought Josiah the other night and was able to block quite a few of his techniques but none of his jabs to the side of my head. And it's not a matter of left or right side. But, it's getting real frustrating.

I'm going to go get chicken feed. Then I need to make chili, do a lesson with Isaac, clean my desk, and practice flute. Adios!
