*peeks head around doorway* Are the rabid and begging fans still here? Because I brought an update.

The first performance of the play is tomorrow night. *pauses for everyone to either faint, scream, or run away in shocked panic* *pauses again for the audience to return* In some ways it feels we've been taking Naomi and Ethan to play practice for forever and on the other hand it feels like too soon for it all to be over. There are two plays that will each be performed once both Thursday and Friday evenings. Both are awesome beyond words and I wish y'all could all come see it.

JC, am I right in calculating that you'll graduate this spring?

I'm getting over a head cold. Praise God I'm getting over it real fast and pray that Naomi does the same thing. She and Ethan HAVE to have healthy vocal chords for the play.

Spring has officially started down here. It's really below 50s during the days and it hasn't frozen for several nights. The daffodils, redbuds, bradford pears, and crocuses are all blooming and the tulips and lilacs are starting to think about budding. I love spring because it means no more winter. And of course, I am expecting comments of a moaning and longing nature from all my dear Northern Friends (Chera, JC, Katie,).

Did y'all know that Monday there was the biggest wildfire in Texas history right near where I used to live? It burned 300,000 acres. As far as I know I didn't know any of the 9/7 (there are conflicting reports on the number of casualites. I should make Mama call Judi.) people that died.

BTW, does anyone have Eric's blog address when we switched computers I lost it.

Your Observation Skills Get A B-

Your senses are pretty sharp (okay, most of the time)
And it takes something big to distract you!

I got the CLEP study guide from the library today. Now we'll see how much I've forgotten.

You Are Scary

You even scare scary people sometimes!

Current books: Angelmass by Timothy Zahn, New Tolerance by Josh McDowell, Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling, and Isaiah and Deuteronomy in Bible reading.

Wearing: my wearhouse shirt and a shortish jean skirt.

Last movie watched: the end of Around the World in 80 Days and the whole of the new Pride and Prejudice-which I loved. Beautiful filming and music.

Digesting: tuna casserole, lime coca-cola, and green tea.

Listening to: Dad hammering in the basement, a Mighty Mouse cartoon, and Caleb telling me about how, when he gets older, he's going to go hunting in the jungle for ducks and coconuts to sell to Walmart.

Currently reading: blogs and blogthing quizzes.

Number of windows open on computer: 3.

Feeling: cold and grungy. I smell like stale grease from work. I think I'll go take a nice, long, hot, shower-unless I'm going to Walmart with BonnieJean. I guess I'd better go find out.
