The Continued Adventures of Anna
I'm writing the civics study guide for Chapter 4 out of 18. I don't have to have this done before graduation but I would really like to. Please pray that I'll be productive and diligent!
Why is it that two friends with relatively similar backgrounds can look at something/someone, come up with totally different conclusions, and because of that conclusion make very different decisions which in the eyes of the other person are absolute lunacy? Friendship is based on having something in common and a bit of comraderie (sp?) and love, so what happens to their friendship?
Just a p.s. to my post about color. I'm sure I seem and annoying and obsessed sometimes. The other day I was driving home from Walmart with Mama. She's sitting there practically humming with all the spiritual and organizational thoughts a brilliant mother of 8 usually has. I'm sitting next to her like some preschooler who's just learned her colors and hasn't learned not to say everything that comes to her mind. So audio of the drive goes like this.
Mama: *brilliant thought hum*
Anna: "Oh look at that pretty blue car."
Mama: "Very pretty." *brilliant thought hum*
Anna: "The bank's purple petunias are looking lovely!"
Mama: "Let's remember to pull the dead blooms of our petunias when we get home." (Something she does everytime she walks by the flower bed and something I always forget)
Anna: "Look at that green outfit that lady's wearing."
Mama: *some sort of agreeing noise* *brilliant thoughts hum*
