Vocabulary

One of my favorite subjects/hobbies. Here's two gem-of-a-word from Word Of the Day by dictionary.com

Coruscate, pronounced KOR-uh-skayt, is an intransitive verb meaning 1, to give off or relfect bright beams or flashes of light; to sparkle. 2, To exhibit brilliant, sparkling technique or style. The noun form is cruscation. The adjective coruscant (to flash, glitter) comes from coruscate. It's from the Latin coruscatus.

Brio, pronounced BREE-oh, is a noun meaning 1, enthusiastic vigor; vivacity; liveliness; spirit. It is from Italian, originally of Celtic origin.
