A post finally!
Shame on me for not updateing.
A. Julie, Elizabeth, Meagan, and William are coming to see us tomorrow on their way up to Michigan! I'm so excited! Haven't seen them in way too long. I'll send you pictures Eric. And I've solmenly promised myself that I will not chew Julie out about her educational choices.
*drumroll* I have a flickr account! Now I just need to find a time when i don't have somebody trying to call us so I can upload all my millions of big pictures. I love my camera!
Yesterday was Uel's birthday. Did everybody harass him appropiately for reaching the ripe old age of 20?
Next week is the Nashville regional and I really want to go and help with COMMIT but I don't see any way I can. Pray hard!
Tonight Naomi and I have a band concert in OK City with the homeschool band there. Allow me to rant about the homeschool band directors for a moment. We have been practicing 76 Trombones, Memory, and Buckingham March nonstop for the last two months. Two weeks ago the OK City folks pulled those three and gave us two new pieces to play at the concert. Their bands have already been practicing those pieces; which means that they'll sound good and we'll sound and make Mr. Roper look bad. I am so glad that we're not doing anythign more with that group after tonight!
DOWN WITH MCCAIN AND HIS NASTY CAMARILLA OF WEENIES!!!!!! I swear, he would do less damage for us if he just fessed up and registerd as a democrat! And I wish Frist wouldn't be so indolent with his leadership! Come on! Whip those senators into shape!
Karate was so fun last night! We stretched, did crazy 5s (I must be getting fitte. They're starting to get down right fun instead of exhausting.), then kata. My neidan was weak. I haven't been practicing tek yo, Neidan, Sandon, and Yodan like I should. I was almost right on my starting point on Mazakazi. If my second kokutsu on the left side hadn't run into the pole I would have been right on. Then we split into belt rankings. There weren't enough black belts to go around (all the browns were going over their stuff) so the blue and purple went without. Joshua and the two other blue belts did really well staying on track for all being under 13. Us purple went through all our kicks (I'm actually starting to get them!) and then two of our sweeps. I need to go to the Wednesday class or come early Monday to get those down good.
Gotta get to work. Love y'all!
