Why can I never think of a title?
Here's an email I sent to BJ this morning. And below it is the forward I sent her.
Dearest BJ,
This is from Mrs. L. (Sarah's, from worldview, mom). I loved it and think she came up with it herself. Oh, and Mary H. at church Wednesday had a lovely black shirt with 'W The President' on the back and a little W logo on the left front shoulder. She got it off his website.
I finally got the Spanish cds working! I'm just doing the tests and worksheets for the first couple lessons since it's only review.
Sam B. divided us worldview students into 3 teams and assigned us oral reports on hell due for October 18th. Haley and I have Dante's view of hell. Sam is doing the Biblical view of hell herself and I'm not sure which team got the last two views-Virgil and Homer. I'll forward Haley's outline and attach mine. We just need to merge the two, give examples (with references to appropiate cantos), and polish. Let me know what you think.
The nights are getting down-right chilly here and we're barely having to run the ac during the day. If it was up to me I would have turned it off last week but you know how chill Mama likes to keep the house. The trees haven't changed color yet though. Remind me again how the climate changes over there.
It looks like Chera is going to come visit for a couple of days in November! Her parents are going down to the Arlington area to visit relatives and they're going right through here. We're excite!
Mama got the handiest thing at a CHEF parent night this week. It's a book full of various blank, one-page worksheets made so that you can just copy as many as you need. There's one for a study of a country that Isaac and I are going to do for Taiwan.
Oh, and I'm teaching Isaac piano in two fifteen minute sections a week and getting paid $5 a week for it! And the parents scraped enough together to have Ethan and Joshua take a half-hour lesson a week each for $10 from a Mrs. B in C___. I'm really excited for them! Joshua loves and is good at it and Ethan is good at it and needs the brain help.
I better get my day going. Love you more than very tons of air! (Something about that doesn't sound right...) Anna
sorry about the all caps.
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A WARNING FOR YET ANOTHER CATASTROPHIC HURRICANE FOLLOWING ON THE HEALS OF IVAN AND JEANNE.
THE PATH OF THIS HURRICANE ZIGS AND ZAGS, AND IS THEREFORE HIGHLY UNPREDICTABLE. EXPERTS PREDICT THAT THIS ONE WILL CAUSE THE MOST DAMAGE TO THE UNITED STATES THAT WE HAVE EXPERIENCED IN FOUR YEARS. THEY ARE NAMING THIS ONE HURRICANE KERRY.
BE ADVISED, THE ONLY WAY FOR CITIZENS TO PROTECT THEMSELVES IS BY GETTING BEHIND A BUSH.
This is an interesting and well-written article.
My throat is sore and I don't know why.
Today, I need to:
Do week two of Spanish
Read 15 pages of chemistry. It's a pretty simple module. All about measurements, units, and conversions.
Read ten cants of Purgatory. And email Sam and ask her to explain it all to me.
These last ones are fun. Well, yeah. All school is fun, but these are really fun!
Run.
Play the violin.
Go to the Air-&-Space museum.
Practice Wansai Ni intensively. I've slacked off on doing it every day. Bad me.
Teach Isaac.
Let's go see where what happens to all these good intentions. *prays*
