There are a lot of martial art advertisers signed up with Google! Look at my last post... Grades, algebra, Republican, family conflicts, campaign, voter, survey, Baptist, and Good Samaritian are all mentioned before karate but the ads are always for karate. I don't mind but it gives you an idea of the state of the google-advertising market.

And on the subject of economics... Economics in One Lesson is a good book and this is a really good column.

Just ate a positively luscious bit of watermelon. Words are not sufficient for good fruit, in this bad-writer-Italian's opinion.

Saw a dude in the parking lot of Subway that looked like JC. Of course, I was all the way across the Will Rogers in the Java Dave's parking lot so who know what he looked like up close.

I halfway have a violin-and-viola arrangment for Blessed Assurance done that I hope BJ and I can do at church while she's home. That is, if they can actually switch her ticket from the 23rd of August to the 17th of July. They bought it that way back in January. Also back in January we looked at her passport and wondered why they scheduled her departure for a month after her visa runs out. So a bunch of non-professionals figured this out 7 months ago but King Car waits till the last minute to panic everybody about switching the departure date. Grrrr... Must keep thinking joyful, trusting thoughts...

We had a lovely thunderstorm this afternoon. Samuel, Ethan, and I were out driving around in it and missed a lightning bolt cutting across the sky right above our block. But we got a second-by-second description when we got home.

Chera's back! And that means I get comments again! You know, it's strange how I like having comments on my blog but aren't particularly good or regular at commenting on other people's blogs.

Sirena's chicks are so cute! And Eagle's are getting bigger and cuter all the time. They're both such good mommies.

I went out and played my violin on the porch yesterday evening. I didn't feel any bugs but had three huge mosquito bites when I came back in. And only on my left arm.

Gotta go. We're gonna shoot off fireworks!
