I hate algebra. It steals my RI and violin time. Of course, I am a terrible procrastinator about it but it still is detestable.
Then, on the other hand of the school spectrum is music, teaching Isaac, worlview, writing, reading, things that are so fun I can't believe some people don't like school. Seriously, I could be a student all my life and be fine with that. I wonder if I'll like Apologia Chemistry this fall as much as I liked his biology.
Oh, that reminds me of something funny. Isaiah P. is very like me academically (only he's smarter) so there's always a little bit of friendly competition (not to mention teasingly fighting eachother for the soapbox). So when I was having so much trouble with my hammerfirst at my test Mama said "If you don't break it you won't get an A like Isaiah." I think only Benji (Isaiah's brother, who was bracing for me) and I caught but we got a good laugh out of it.
Naomi is at gym camp this week and Samuel of course is working the camps as well as a 40-hr. week at Microtel. Isaac, Caleb, and Joshua are at VBS each morning this week. Christy and Sam's wedding is Friday evening and Dr. Coburn went and scheduled a speech to Generation Joshua (teen homeschool thing based in HSLDA) in Tulsa smack in the middle of it. *sniff* Isn't that mean?
Ethan has been running at the Rec Center with me. He's so fun to be with. And of course, the life of the party is Mama who is getting back into the swing of it.
I love running. Every morning I don't feel like doing it but I always feel better afterwards.
