Here's an email I sent to BJ.

before I get shooed into bed!

Caleb has double ear infections and is quite miserable but slowly improving.

Samuel and I went with the Williams (Bower-friends-Haley-at-worldview-class-Williams, not the Baptist-chapel-Williams) down the road in Timberlake housing development to help with a reception for Tom Coburn. He's running against Brad Carson (democrat) for a U.S. Senate seat. We handed out paraphenila (sp?) and nametags, heard him speak, visited with the crowd, and went home. He sounds pretty cool.

The next day....

Well, Samuel is now a licensed and insured driver. He got a $100 discount on insurance because Mama and Dad have been customers there so long. So it was only a shocking 325 bucks instead of the outragious 425 dollars.

I'm on the last lesson of Algebra 1! After that I'm gonna take off school, except teaching Isaac, until after the reception.

Speaking of which, we had our practice run Sunday with having the Hollidays and Catherine (our new family coordinator) and Sarah Perkins over. It went really well. I wish you could see the living room! (Well, duh! I should just post a pic!) The reception might be a little easier in that everybody won't sit down all at once to eat. ;)

We're listening to the soundtrack from the movie Holes. Samuel bought it off Ebay after losing the bid on half/a-dozen others. Some of the songs get a little repetitive, but they're all real cool.

Speakin' of movies...Dad told Mama to buy ROTK on dvd when it came out and she did! We (us kids) were gonna just rent it and buy the extended in August (they're releasing the extended sooner since there's not another sequel comin' along.) I guess Dad just couldn't wait. I think he's liked ROTK best of the three. We'll still buy the extended with Christmas $$.

Caleb's feeling much better. He's actually moving (yesterday he just slept), and he hasn't been complaining too much about his ears.

Monday night was a fight night instead of regular class. It was on donation basis to raise money for Jason Murry's (it was gonna be Wankan but he was the only that had made time for it.) trip to Canada. I had several fun fights: Ethan, Mr. Garza, and the middle Mr. Wittaker (sp?). I really need to work on fighting sideways. I can work defensively in a ko-kutse/fighting stance but everytime I close the gap I twist forward into a more boxing stance. My reverse punch is pretty much nonexistent. At least I'm no longer losing fights via descending hammer fists. ;)

I better get to work. I miss you!

Love, Anna
