No bio today folks. Sorry.

The Ponds are over. We decided not to do any computer games just for this Tues. so we can do some other stuff with them. Everyone's having a blast. They just finished monopoly and now younger ones are playing candyland. Oh, and their dad got a promotion that moves them back to Midland. Lucky them! Moving back to Texas, family, and promotion! I'm gonna miss 'em!

Karate went REALLY well last night. We practiced kicks with bags which is always fun. Some people in our group wouldn't kia so we probably did about 60+ pushups counting the ones we did at the end for not lining up. I got to fight Megan Lv. and then Bethany S. and Alicia said I need to pop my techniques more and not leave it out there. Then we did some large-group sparring. Jaron sparred Brittany G. Ethan sparred Michael and Michael whacked him twice in the face. Samuel sparred Josiah Z. Matthew S. wiped the ground with our Joshua. Joshua H. sparred for the first time with Joey S. and they both did really well. Bethany S. sparred Alicia D. and did really well, but Alicia wasn't up to her usual brilliance. Before and after class I performed Wansai Ni for Mr. Murry, Jason Murry, Mr. Tommy H., Stacy D. and Brittany G. Everybody said it was real good and I got these tips. Relax, tenseness will ruin your power and fluidity. Make the techniques snap. Make it fluid. Don't loose stance or power. Widen my zen-kutsus. Watch my balance on my stances (I'm still nearly falling over on my spin/hidden punch). Don't worry about getting all the moves exact: power and stance is more important. Over all they said it was real good. If I can do it Sat. as good as I did it for Brittany I'll be tickled.

We ordered my new glasses frame yesterday! I'll probably have them in 2-3 weeks. They're Sophilos (sp?), burgundy rose with a magnetic tinted clip. Last week I had seen them at one store and fell in love with them. But we found them at another place where they carry our insurance so we got a discount on the frames! It was a very pleasant surpise God sent our way.

I'm almost done with BJ's essay that I'm ghostwriting for her. I'm hoping to send it in tomorrow per her approval.

I'm on book ten of the Aeneid, and hoping to finish the other two today, and start working on my oral report. I would appreciate y'all's prayer support on the oral report. I'm gonna need some more ideas if it's gonna be 5 minutes long. It's a fun subject: defining and contrasting the role of dreams in the Bible and the Aeneid. So far my ideas for contrast are: different times the Roman/Greek gods deceive people with dreams. Another point is how the Roman/Greek gods do not always have the human's best interest at heart and Jehovah always does. Another point is that both Christians and Greeks have adversaries: they have gods that get mad at them and we have Satan. There are obvious differences but just follow me here. Satan can send false dreams just as the Roman gods supposedly do. But Christians are given a way of discerning false dreams/prophesies from true ones. We are told to watch for fruits, to run it through the Bible (God won't contradict His word.) and to check with our ordained authorities (the king's heart is in the Hand of the Lord). The Roman dudes are just stuck blindly trying to figure it out.

Man, I hope that made sense folks.

Please continue to pray for BJ as she's praying about staying another year.

See y'all!
