We finished the whole section on Aristotle today!!!! It was interesting to study his ideas, but I certainly won't miss his reasoning or ideas. March 4th we'll be tested on Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle. Sam handed out a study guide today, and I think I'll probably borrow some of the tapes from her.
Sam had a box of things she's getting rid of at class, and let us paw through it and take stuff. I got several little people books and cds and a novel by Susan Baur called Though the Darkness Hide Thee. I've never heard of Susan Baur before, but Sam said she was real good; her nonfiction book The Weltering Mind forms one of Sam's tenets of her educational philosphy. Now I'll have to read that book, too. Oh, and I finished the book about Reagan Sunday, and am working through Tilt. OH, the joys of books!
Gotta run because BJ might be calling, and I have lines to memorize for play practice tomorrow. Hey, if you have a minute, pray for play practice. Mrs. Cagle needs to quit stressing, and the rest of us need to get a little more serious.
