Good morning! And shoot me for a lily-livered, yeller-bellied daughter of a one-eyed prairie dog (quote from Stuart Little) for not updating. I would get on to post and get to thinking about what to write and say "That's not interesting" and go play a computer game. So, this morning I was talking to Mama about it, and she gave a little pep talk about how it was too interesting. Which was nice, because I do feel like blogging and shall now do with no worries about what's interesting. Was that rambling?

BonnieJean and Samuel left out early Saturday morning and arrived just fine. Today Samuel goes to Alamo and BJ and to Graves. Samuel didn't have to leave till 10 so he got to call home. And I was gone with Mama to the Rec Center and then to pick up the co-op order and didn't get to talk to him. They seem to be doing just fine, even though I haven't had the chance to talk to either of them.

JC called Saturday! That was good to get to talk to him. I haven't been on the RI for almost as long as I haven't posted here, so I had missed the big news that *drumroll*

STEPHEN AND ELIZABETH ARE ENGAGED!!!!!!

Sunday Ethan and I stayed the afternoon at church for a youth Prayer and Praise. We ate lunch, played games, sang, Mr. Person gave a devotional, we broke off into small groups, sang, had a snack, went to the local nursing home to sing for them and visit, and then came back for evening church. It was a good time, especially the singing and small groups. It was a really large group, about 50 people. While we were there Samuel and BJ both called at different times, so I missed talking to them. :(

Poor Joshua was sick to his stomach yesterday and threw-up twice. He's over it now, so we're hoping it was just a 24-hour bug. So only Ethan, Naomi, and I went to chess. I played Dakota, Sean, Ethan, and watched several games between Chuck and Destiny. He was going over an opening for black that she's going to play in the tournament Saturday. I'll need to get him to go over it with me again because I don't quite have it done.

Karate went well Monday. We divided into 4 groups rotating between 4 stations. This time we got to go to all the stations which were, in this order, bags, techniques, self-defenses, and kata. We were hoping to stay till 9 and spar some but Mama was in a hurry to get home. I did get to spar with Alicia Davis some, and she gave some good advice. I got to start learning Heian Sandon (sp?), the next kata. Mrs. Murray had the cards ready for everbody that lists all the requirements for your belt test. Yippee!!

It was Mr. Burnett's birthday last week, and he managed to sneak out on getting sung to. So we got him today. Some certain people drew stuff on his windows and toilet-papered the inside of his truck. Then Mr. Murray and others topped him with whipped cream and cherries outside. I missed the actual act, but I was talking to Mrs. Arnett, Mrs. Murray, and Mama as he came in all goey. He ran up and hugged Mrs. Murray and got it all on her. Then he did the same thing later when she had her guard down. It was soooo funny!

Ethan signed up at Entmoot yesterday. The computer froze up on us 3 times as we were signing him up. I'm about ready to shoot it.
