Life is good! I woke up very happy this morning. BonnieJean is home, I'm getting new shoes and pants soon, Samuel is coming home tomorrow, my blogger is working, and I had had a real nice dream about a whale that liked me.
Read a neat verse this morning. Isaiah 33:22 He decides the laws, and because of that He's also the judge. But He also defends us from the law.
I finished Wisdom Booklet 15 today. It's about "Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid." It's interesting that Satan and his darkenss can do nothing to stop our witness. Light dispels darkness and darkness can in no way hinder it. Another concept is that as a Christian I am on a hill and cannot be hid. Sometimes I feel I don't have much effect on things and don't have much opportunity to witness, but God has placed me on a hill and I can't be hid!
Mom's Night Out is tonight at Mrs. A.'s and Mama is going. It's for the homeschool moms in our county. Mama says most of them would swim a swift creek to get there!
Sunday I stayed at church till evening service helping pack boxes for Honduras. The future of the boxes are uncertain. Mr. K. our missionary down there has been diagnosed with a brain disorder and is in CA for treatment with his wife. Their 30 year old daughter is in Honduras with their 3 younger children. The church is having to dip into the building fund to pay their way (they spent all their savings to go to the mission field and their insurance does not cover brain disorders.). Please keep them in your prayers.
