Naughty me!! I haven't blogged for a week! I'm sure y'all have all given up on me, and probably have deleted this address out of your favorites, so I shall be forever posting to no one! Ok, quit being silly Anna.
I've been feeling silly ever since this morning. JC, BonnieJean, Samuel, and I went to see K-19. We got there so early no one was in the theater for the first 5-10 minutes. And how often do you get to run up and down those stairs like a little kid? So, I guess you can guess what I did. And JC treated us to popcorn. Did you know I have never had popcorn at a movie theater? And that I've only seen 5 movies in theaters that I can remember. BJ says I saw The Rescuers, but I don't remember it. K-19 was very sad in that the ship broke, several people died later because of radiation poison as they tried to fix it, and the captain (who, of course, was fully indoctrinated with Americans being pure liquid evil.) woudn't ask the Americans for help even when they were all being poisoned with radiation. It was very heroic in that he was willing to die for what he thought was right, even though it was a lie he had been told. During the first part of the movie he takes lots of unneccesary risks, but he gets smarter as the movie progresses. It was interesting, (warning, it had some short nudity scenes), but so sad I don't think I'll watch it again.
Let's see... I started feeling better a little while after my last post. The next day us kids made a day of it. We ate at Pizza Hut, windowed shopped at the Mall, ate icecream at the Mall, bowled one game each, and generally had fun. I got a couple of things for my secret sis at the Dollar Store, picked out a bd. gift for Dad (we haven't bought it yet though.), and enjoyed watching people and watching the people watch us. :)
Other than that we've just been visiting and enjoying eachother's company. It's been super great to have JC here. He really is like family.
