Greetings once again! Thank you all for the comments on the first post on the 19th! I love y'all all!
Mama is it at Wal-mart right now. We'll be going swimming today. I finished my study guide for Module #9. I'm doing lots of laundry, so we can have everything to pack tomorrow. And, Mama will cut the boys' hair tonight. Good grief, I summed up everything pretty fast there!
Here's some good paragraphs from my friend James' journal.
It's about time I arrived back at this point. I don't come here enough. Again I look around me and realize time is fleeting, life is as the morning mist, and because of its brevity our time on this earth is precious beyond measure. Like the son of a rich man I spend without worry, wasting away my hours. 'Plenty more where that came from', I say to myself. Is that so? Who am I to suggest that I have power over time? Not only am I uncertain that I'll be alive next year, I don't know that I'll live to take another breath. I could be gone in an instant. Finished. Kaput. All through. Game over. The end.

Understanding of life's miniscule measure causes our relationships to have renewed meaning. Others become more important. I become less important. The final destination of the people around us should then be considered above all else. What does it matter that we be mocked for our "insane rantings" if but one heart is changed and one soul is saved? We should be yelling on the street corners:

You can't make it to heaven on your own! You'll never be good enough. God requires perfection. Because of the bad things you've done, someone had to die! Praise be to the Lord for his abundant grace, for Jesus came and set aside his glory to live as a man; a flesh and blood man who had a runny nose, who choked on his food, who got sweaty, hungry, and tired just like us; a man without fault, blameless in every way. He came as a man to die. Can you imagine that? God came to die. For what? Because there was a price to be paid and you couldn't pay it. So he lived the life you refused to live. Then he died the death you deserved to die. Because of his sacrifice, you're set free from your debt. It has been paid in full. Now the ball is in your court. Believe in him so you can accept his payment. Accept the fact that your debt has been canceled.
And yet we fear. What are you afraid of? Time is short. The next time you see an unsaved friend may be your last. What are you going to do about it?

I'll probably post some more later.
