Welcome back to the Palindrome Newssite, the only site devoted completely to Anna B. and the happenings in her life. Due to her busy schedule and a problems with electrical outage we were unable to bring you any news since the 26th, so let's have a little recap.
Babysitting the P. Friday night went very well. There was the usual testing of who's in charge, but it settled down nice and quick. They played baseball, watched the kids swim, ate supper, had a juggling show and lessons (James got up to 3 balls, Marla, was getting there, Joel and Emma could do 1 good, but always passed the 2nd ball rather than throwing. Emma would have had the diablo tackled if it had a shorter string. Leah just threw the balls wildly.), cleaned up, and played with the girl's hair while Samuel read "Riddles in the Dark." Then there was the schocking realization when she got home that she and Samuel had been paid $20 bucks each!!!!! Anna was heard to have said that it was embarrasing to take such an extravagent pay. The one bad note was that while playing baseball barefoot she managed to fully insert 1/2 inch thorn into her right heel.
Which ruined Saturday completely as her heel was very sore, so she had to walk around on tippy-toe which gave her shin splints. Some of the boys got their hair cut, and Anna bathed Isaac and Caleb. One thing of interest happened. Our frig gave up the ghost, so Dad went to get a new one. He had hitched up the trailer to the van, was taking Joshua with him, and was just about to drive off when he noticed something in his rear-view mirror. Caleb was in the trailer playing. Everyone was scared stiff and walked around in a grateful daze thereafter.
Sunday went well, in the usual way. Had a good family bible reading time, with lots of talking. :)
Dad left for Denver yesterday for job training. Watched Hercules, Pride and Prejudice and Raiders of the Lost Ark. Hercules was ok, Raiders gross and illogical, pr and p interesting.
And now I have to go.
