Sorry for not posting here in 5 days! I've been sick with a chesty sounding cough and ear infections.
Sad news. A fellow from the RI, Merwyn (Onfire4Him) drowned yesterday in the Cedar River, Ohio. He was swimming with a friend. Evidently there were bad river currents that pulled them under. I still haven't quite realized it. I didn't know him very well, but his sister Janene is a dear and I know she loved him very much. Please pray for her and her family. And the family of his friend. This must be so hard.
I had a lovely 4th of July. We worked hard all day in the yard. Then all of us except Samuel, Ethan and Dad went to our friend's the J. for their big 4th party. THat was a lot of fun. THey had amazing fireworks! There weren't very many people I knew there, but I hung out with who I did and had fun visiting. Samuel, Ethan, and Dad went into Tulsa to street juggle. The response wasn't very good. People were there for a good time, not to hear about God. But, at least they didn't get arrested or had tomatoes thrown at them.
We set off fireworks Friday. That was a lot of fun! I love fountains! Such beautiful colors!
Saturday Uncle Rod and Aunt Leona, Natalie, Duane and Janet came over for a good 3 hours.
ack. Time to eat.
