On the 23rd I went to a scrapbooking afternoon that some of the girls in CHEF got together. There were only 3 other girls there, which was kinda nice. When tis a smaller group it's easier to visit, and it's impossible for anyone to get left out. Couple of years ago Aunt Catherine had sent me a scrapbooking kit and a bunch of old pictures of the family. I did 2 pages of them yesterday, and organized all the others.
While I was gone Caleb was stung by a wasp on the right wrist. It was VERY swollen by supper, and he had a fever. The next morning his elbow down was swollen to at least twice it's usual size, so we brought him to the doctor. He gave us some quarterzone (sp?) and a sling (to hold his arm in a position for drainage.) It's much better, but still swollen. But, he's feeling lots better.
I got a lovely card for Mandi by Russel Cobane. It's a robin sitting on a white fence with yellow, pink and white lillies in front of him. It looks like a picture, it's soooo good! It cost $2.18 (!!!), but I think it was worth it.
I may not post here in the next couple of days. I have set myself a deadline of August 1st to finish my track. I'm just about there, but I have to knuckle down to it.
Other things I have to do... Biology Vocabularly Quiz tonight, finish last 5 questions of biology study guide, do 2 math tests, finish letter to Alicia, go swimming, iron Dad a shirt, make bed. Things I have done... 15 biology study guide questions, memorized biology definitions, practiced violin and piano, did some geography, wrote some in Alicia's letter, started laundry, and read 2 chapters in Exodus (I'm up to the plague of hail and fire.)
