Oh, my. My control center looks so different. I haven't decided weither I like it or not.

Ok, I haven't updated in an outragious amount of time, and y'all are probably a, mad at me. B, worried about me. C, all of the above. But I'm still alive and I think sane. I just took a break from my usual routine of school, internet, and chores did next to nothing for almost 2 weeks. I'm considering that as my summer break, and will work like a dog for the remainder of the season.

The trip to TX was wonderful! We were hoping to make it Amarillo and see Miss Johnson, but it didn't work out . :( But we did make it to the reunion, see all the sisters, as well as U. Freddy, and see Grandmother. And the van made it all the way there, and all the way back.

Although now it is being terrible. It's dying in intersections and when you're getting onto highways and for no apparent reason. So, I haven't gone driving for 3 weeks because Mama was so busy, and looks like now I'll have to wait even longer until Burk starts behaving.

Dad is sick with a fever. I had a sore throat earlier this week, and Samuel is having sinus trouble.

BTW, Samuel is in TN working at Rachel's camp for this week. He'll be home Sunday.

Tonight we (kids) get to go over to the Arnettes, swim and eat watermelon, while Mama and Dad will have the house to themselves. They won't know what to do with themselves. I don't know when was the last time they had their home to themselves.

Court and Kali had their baby! I just get all bouncy and tingly everytime I think about it!

We are at war. Are you prepared?

We as Christians are at war. Not a physical war, but spiritual. Against the devil and his schemes to try to drag us way from Christ.
He will come at you at your weakest moment and will attack you with all the fury of hell.
He'll try to get you to doubt. He'll tempt you. He'll make you question God.
He'll try to trip you so that you stumble, and fall.
He doesn't want anyone to be followers of the One and Only.
He wants to drag as many souls as he can into the pit.

We must put on the full armor of God.
We must stand firm. We must hold to the faith and never let go of the promise that we have in Jesus our Savior.
When you fall, ask God to pick you up again.
Repent of your ways. Make a complete 180, and don't look back at your old life.
The bible says to "Remember Lot's wife."
She looked back and turned into a pillar of salt.
Fight the good fight of faith.
Press on toward the mark that you may one day recieve the greatest prize - eternal life in heaven.
Stand up for Jesus. Praise him for is never ending love, mercy and grace.


Ephesians 6:10-18
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;


STOP WHATEVER YOU ARE DOING AND PRAY RIGHT NOW!
This is the most important thing you can EVER EVER do.
Spend some time with God. You'll be eternally grateful that you did.
