Dad took me driving Sun. in one of the school parking lots. Before I'd always driven in the Expo lot where the dividers have little trees growning in them, so I could gauge from there where the curb was. At the school the curbs and dividers don't so I had to practicing gauging where it was in relation to the wheels. I'm hoping Mama will take me driving today. By the time Dad gets home I'll be at chess in Java Dave's.
Sunday was Spring Sing (Talent show) at church. Last year it was kinda boring, but now that we know all the people it was quite fun. About every 10 performers Tim would draw 3 names out of 3 containers (hats must have been short that day). One for a songleader and one for a pianist (sp?) and one for a song. Since y'all don't know people at my church I won't tell you who all went up, but it got to be very funny! One of the times they called up everybody called to missions, so I got to sing "This Little Light of Mine" with about 10 other folks.
Today we went to the park for 1/2 an hour. The kids played, Samuel did school, and Mama and I walked. Samuel drove us there, and did very well.
Treasure Planet comes to video and DVD today! Yeah, yeah, yeah! I love that movie!
I'm reading a book by Winston Churchill right now The Gathering Storm. Very interesting, even though I don't always understand what he says about British politics.
I started reading The Last Battle to Ethan, Naomi, and Joshua on Sunday. Naomi has read some ahead. I'm glad that she's finally taking an interest in reading a longer book by herself.
It's absolutetly beautiful today. 80s and sunny. It's not humid yet, for which we are very thankful!
Karate went real well yesterday. It was the first time I got to work out in my gi. I love it! Looks real cool. We'll probably be testing in 1 or 2 weeks, so we'll need to order the sparring equipment this coming Monday.
Pray for BJ. She's not feeling well and is a couple of lessons behind in her paralegal work. And this is her hardest quarter, too.
We're having potatoes and brisquet for supper tonight! Yum and more yum!
Tonight is chess at Java Dave's. It's always a lot of fun!
I made bread yesterday at the price of not getting a math lesson done. Oh, well.
Think that's all for now folks. Love y'all!
